Cinta Vidal

Cinta Vidal was born in Catalonia, in 1982 and spent her entire life in Cardedeu, a lovely little village near Barcelona. She completed her primary education in a local school and when she finished it, she did an illustration course in Barcelona. So far, she has participated in a number of scenography workshops, painting backdrops for theatre. She gets her inspiration from the people around her as well as the landscapes and places she explores. Her works communicate the common message that we all live in the same environment but do it in countless different ways.

Playing around perspectives and looking for a realistic point of view are the highlights of her works. She uses acrylics, and in her most recent solo shows she also used oils. She takes part in exhibitions as often as she can. Her passions are going to the theatre, reading, going running and spending time outdoors with her friends.
